Abdominal Liposuction for weight loss?

Is abdominal liposuction used for weight loss in certain situations? It seems to me that would really be an easy (albeit expensive) way to lose weight!

You will lose weight, as the fat weighs a certain amount, and if it is cut or suctioned away you will experience weight loss because the fat is gone. You'll lose no more from the lipo-, the rest will need to come off through diet and exercise.
