What Is Liposuction?

This is a formal description of liposuction! This is of course my own definition, but I think it's dead on! This is for anyone who needs any information and such on the highly debated topic!


Liposuction is a surgical procedure that improves the body's shape by removing excess fat from deposits located between the skin and muscle. Liposuction involves the use of a small stainless steel tube, called a cannula. The cannula is connected to a powerful suction pump and inserted into the fat through small incisions in the skin. Fat removal is accomplished as the suction cannula creates tiny tunnels through the fatty layers. After surgery, these tiny tunnels collapse and thus result in an improved body contour.

That is perfect definition and i have read similiar on Wiki too .
I am not totally familiar to all drawbacks by liposuction but it is a fast to reduce fats from body .

That's a good definition! I have seen similar definitions about liposuction around the internet and in person.

You have a very good description about liposuction right there. I know liposuction but I do not know the exact definition of it. I get envy to those who have the courage and the money to undergo this surgery. Because I don't have the courage of doing it and I don't have enough money.

That is an excellent definition. I am doing some research now, about it and trying to save enough money. I had triplets about 3 years ago, and although I lost a lot of the weight, I still have excess that really has not budged from excercise

That is a good definition of liposuction. Like others here, I think I would like to experience it myself, but I have neither the courage nor the money!
