Severe Acne

I have moderate to severe acne. I've had it since I was about 13-yrs-old. Over the years I have tried a variety of different medicines, however i was wondering if anyone has ever had or considered surgery to repair acne damage?

hey ive had it since i was 11, im 18 now. it does suck. ive used 'clearasil' and loads of other soap things... ive had creams, lotions, pills and tablets.. still nothing.. so i jst decided to leave it and try ignore it.. its starting to go but i think the effect of having them for 7 years has destroyed my confidence ALOT

i think its due to the skin not being able to breath..

I think surgery can help repair the damage and get rid of the scars, but I doubt there's much that can be done to prevent it.
