Ans -

Acne can sometimes be controlled topically, and sometimes now. You probably feel like you look bad and that might not be the case. One thing about humans is that the more one looks at a person, the more they get used to them and then do not see anything out of the ordinary. Perhaps you have a friend with a strange thing about them, that you don't notice because you've been around them so long. Know that the bacteria that causes acne cannot survive in an oxygen environment. most acne creams contain a chemical that will create oxygen on your skin and kill that bacteria. One thing that helped my acne was that I stopped using regular soap. Instead I wash with Neutrogena Body soap with the little abrasive beads in it. Get it at target. it doesn't contian the stickyness that can trap dirt and bacteria in the skin (quite as much) I still get acne. You will do yourself a service if you don't pick and scratch at it. Try your best to leave it alone. I know it's difficult, I struggle at age 28 with it. But you will proabably change at some point, or if not, you will proabbly get used to it or find the chemical that works. be wary of taing acne medication or any medication, in case it has side effects.

Thanks for all that advice. Is there any way to get rid of it completely?

What Causes An Acne Scar??

Acne scars are usually caused by inflammation at a cellular level, causing darkened (post inflammatory hyperpigmentation, PIH) or lightened pigmented areas, disruption of collagen fibers and an overproduction of scar tissue. However, inflammation which alters the collagen structure can create a pock mark or other unsightly scar. The damage may even affect the melanin production in your skin resulting in a lightened, hypopigmented area. Hypopigmentation is more difficult to correct than hyperpigmentation but there are treatments available.

A anti-inflammatory diet rich in anti-oxidants can decrease break outs, Rosacea and improve skin overall. Try a diet such as The Perricone Prescription and see a difference in less than 28 days. Menu items include salmon, blueberries, tomatoes, and green, leafy vegetables. Some foods to avoid: Sugar, starchy foods such as potatoes, white rice or bread, and caffeine.
