Acne seems to be common problem but I do not usually see many people with lots of pimples and such. How many people suffer from acne?

I always see people with some type of acne. It might be because I'm always at a university, but I see it a lot even with adults. It's pretty common, I am sure that every single person has had a pimple at one point.

I don't consider myself to have terrible acne but I have those little annoying bumps like you see on Jessica Simpson in the Proactive commercial, and about 3 or 4 zits on my face at one time. It's so annoying, because I have to wear makeup to cover it up, but that may be what makes it worse. I stress a lot too, I know that's a major part of it. I hope if I ever finally leave home it'll go away

Are you talking about the acne common with puberty, or the occasional pimple, which can't really be considered acne as much as either contact dermatitis or plugged pores?
Often, pimples are labeled acne when they aren't acne! |

I do have some acne after I became 40! I hate it and some times is little, but some days is just impossible! I want to think is a pre-condition to menopause... just wishfull thinking.
