Many of you on this site have lost large amounts of weight and have had sagging skin to tuck. I am a bit different and hoping someone can shed some light on my situation. I have large arms as compared to the rest of my body. I have not lost lots of weight. I am wondering if anyone out there has had lipo and THEN the arm lift and how it worked for them. My arms are large and all I can wear are stretch-type shirts. I am scheduled for lipo and an arm lift December 22. I will be going back to work 11 days later and don't want people at work to know I've had this done. What type of results will I have with FAT arms and will I be able to disguise the arm with big sleeves?

The latest on arm lifts is that liposuction (especially a lot of it) should be done as thr first stage, followed by a removal of excess skin later. Arm scars are not that great, and by limiting the sweling we may get a nicer overall result.

I wish I had known that about lipo first. My PS told me that maybe I would need touch-up lipo eventually if I'm not happy with the results. My left
elbow is still very swollen. Surgery end of April. There is one place on my right elbow that will have to be taken care of. |

I doubt you will be able to make it so your coworkers don't know. You wouldn't get the procedure unless it would make a noticeable difference. |
