So, any thoughts on what I should do to prepare to be as self sufficient as possible? When were you able to shower, lift your arms to do your own hair, dress yourself, etc? How were you limited? For instance, does it hurt to bend your arms to drink? Anything that surprised you?

I'm 2 weeks post op, as of last Thursday. I had my stitches out at 2 weeks. I was allowed to shower 3 days post op. I was surprised at how many stitches I had, and how long the incisions are. I did have a lot of swelling and recommend wearing the ace wraps all the time. They make things feel much better. I had a hard time brushing my hair the first few days, and blow drying was hard until the stitches came out. It didn't hurt to bend my arms to drink or eat. I will say that the arms were more painful than the timmy tuck.
I'm very happy that I had it done. My ps removed .5 lb. of skin from each arm, and I can already see that it looks so much better than before. |

Did you have the arms and the tummy tuck done at the same time?
I am scheduled for a tummy tuck and arm lift together, just wondering about your experience? |

Having them both at the same time is going to be hard because you will be swollen all over. Of course, you will only have to go through it once, instead of having to go through being swollen twice.
