Hello all....
I have been checking the different sites and have found out about the compression garments. the ones used for swelling and to help "modl" your shape.... My doctor has a tummy band and a special bra. Dr Romero in TJ supplies TT band and bra but not others..... Nothing was memtioned about a Facial and neck wrap/compression garment #210N or# 210-OB for after my face lift.......and the tummy band will not take care of my thighs, I have found a Zippered Body Girdle #853 ($119) or maybe the above the knee Zippered Girdle #753 that will compress the tummy and thighs both..... and have been reading that some of the breast implants ride up out of place because of swelling....well have found a ....3" BREAST WRAP that goes above the breast to hold the implants in place....#510-3 there is a bra/ band combo but it is like $91 so that is a tad much. I found all this stuff at www.designverornique.com so do i need these ????? help please........... hugs and happiness |

Most people seem to think that the compression garments help a lot. Do you need them? Probably not. Do you want them? Probably, if you can afford them.

Why would you get them if they don't even work then that would mean it's a waist of money. I personally think if they were made then they should be used. They are expensive though.

They don't work for everyone but they worked for me so I used them.I guess you have to have a tolerance for garments of that nature. To some it cause more discomfort than comfort.

I dont think such garments actually work and even if they did produce any results, they would be very uncomfortable for regular wearing.

Compression garments are used after surgery, aren't they? Why would you purchase one if it isn't linked to a procedure?
I you are buying something in hopes of changing your appearance without a procedure, then just get a girdle from Rago, or some other place that specialized in figure control garments. Last edited by SageMother : 12-18-2007 at 03:10 PM. |

I think those garments help, specially when you had some liposuction done, it some how helps the body to adjust to the new form, and it also helps with any kinf of pain and discomfort.

I wish a simple garment would help. I guess the part that should be the easiest to work on for me would be my arms. I never expected them to be flabby, but you would be surprised what age does to you.

I know exactly what you are talking about! I hate my arms, but just to think of the pain following an operation, I´m limiting my self to not raise my arms in public!
