If you are going somewhere that you know is a one time thing or won't see the people on a regular basis, then this is probably a good idea. Special occasions where you want to fit into an outfit or disguise a certain problem would be best for the garments; if you did it too regularly it would probably be a bit uncomfortable. I used to wear corsets as a fashion item (underneath a nice jacket) on special occasions and I have tried special pantyhose to slim my legs. I do like them, but they are definitely pricey and a little too tight for me!

Default compression hose

I agree that compression hose is disagreeably tight. I tried two different sizes and both felt way too constricted. I'd sooner wear a long dress or pallazo pants than wear that hose!

Default Compression

I can see how this could be a temporary solution when wanting to look our best for an evening out...but I can't see wearing one of thes ALL the time.

Exactly...I wonder if it's worth the hassle and lack of comfort. But it's good for rare occasions.
