Default Lipo-dissolve or mesotherapy on arms - help!

I posted this question under liposuction, and haven't heard from anyone. So, thought I'd try this post. I'm going to be going in Sept. 7th for a lipo-dissolve combination meso on my upper arms. Has anyone had this done, did it work, was it painful? I went in to my trusted PS yesterday to have it done, but once she heard that I would be attending a wedding, and be wearing a sleeveless dress (Texas, Hot!) next weekend, she said that if it were her doing it, she'd wait. Chances of bruising can be from minimal to a Lot and that I would definitely swell in the area treated. Like, I'd want to be any Bigger than I am!! So, was grateful for her input, and am waiting. But would like to hear from any of you that have had it done. Thanks in advance for any info.

I had lipo on May 25th. I can tell you that it is a LOT more traumatic to the tissues both inside and on the surface than I expected. I was estatic with my results but there was a lot of bruising and not a lot of swelling. Also, I had to wrap my arms in compression foam for several weeks to minimize the bruising and swelling. I am not familiar with the procedure you are having done and can only speak about the lipo. I'm sure the degree of bruising and swelling depends also on the amount of fat removed. I had a lot of lipo done around the circumference of my upper arms and the more times that cannula is inserted, the more trauma you have. I'd listen to your doctor, enjoy the wedding and do the procedure afterward! Hope this helps and good luck!

I was wondering if anyone out there responds to some of these posts - as there are many that have 0 responses. I will still hope that maybe someone out there has had the lipo-dissolve. I'm sure that it is not as invasive as a true lipo, and I can understand why that sensitive area would be prone to much bruising and a lot of discomfort. I wish you a speedy recovery. Did you go with the liposuction to remove fat or did you also want a recontouring of the arm? Thanks again.

The bruising will go away. So, you may not want to get bigger than you are, but the bruising is only temporary inflamation.
