My tummy tuck

I have finally raised the money for a tummy tuck and have been booked in to have both that and liposuction at a belgium clinic (it is alot more reasonably priced than the uk) I have been unable to find any objective ratings or patient testimonials about the clinic and wonder if anyone has undergone surgery in Belgium or this particular clinic Wellness Kliniek and if they could share there experiences with me.

Yes I heard of that Clinic before, but I know nothing about it, do you know who is doing you surgery there name of the Dr so you can check him out? Have you had any consultations in the UK? Is the only reason to go there because it is cheaper? Have you been to the clinic yet? Tell me how the consultation process is there? I got so many questions............................. I just get a little worried why people will go to Belgium when we in the UK have just as good surgeons.

I do not know much about that clinic. I recommend you get in contact with previous patients before your surgery. You want to make sure a surgeon is qualified before going under the knife, so to speak.

I would be scared half to death id I had nowhere to find out the quality of the clinic or the doctor. Have you tried looking through any clinic ratings in Belgium? Have you checked up on the doctor's performance through the appropriate regulatory agencies in Bellgium?

When a doctor is going to do a significant operation on our bodies that will change the entire look of our body, the first thing I would want is impeccable references, meetings with former clients, board certifications and anything else that makes me trust him/her with my body.

I haven´t heard of that clinic in Belgium... but have you checked prices in the US?? with the dollar so low against the pound, maybe you can get a better deal... although Belgium is a lot closer than the US to the UK...

I don't think that reputable clinics in Europe or the US will do a tummy tuck and liposuction on a patient sight-unseen. Just because one doc is cheaper than the other should not be your first criteria.

You might want to call the clinic itself and see if they have anyone willing to give testimonials....or know of places that have published reviews of them. They'll point you to positive ones, of course, but you might be able to dig up some more objective ones from there.
