Default surgery after accutane

I just read that the manufacturer says that you should wait 6 months after completing an acne treatment with Accutane to have any type of elective surgery. Has anyone had surgery after such a treatment?? Asnd if yes, how long did you wait?? Thanks for any info.

Yeah that is trues that you must wait for about 6 month befores doing any surgery because the cells your skin have been undergoing permanent changes due to the treatment with the accutane and while there is change in the physical structure of the skin. If a surgery is performed, your skin which is in a stage of changing will not have its usual capacity of adaptation.
You shoud have tried a natural treatment which will allow your sking to keep its adaptating capacity while making the necessary changes. I was myself on petative skin and coat tonic which did not render my skin weak due to an agressive treatment but stronger.

No other acne medicine works as well for severe acne except accutane. Apart from waiting for a prolonged period prior to treatment, this drug is having its own demerits- Miscarriage, depression, Affects major visceral organs like liver, intestines, eyes, ears, and skeletal system. Please consult your physician before opting this treatment.

Yes, that is true. The acne medication affects your skin, leaving it inoperable for elective surgery. You have to wait until its effect on the skin wears off.
