Default Staggering pain in one breast

I'm 17 days po and have started getting staggering pain in a certain place on my left breats. It goes away if I take Ibuprophen, and I have no fever. The location is between the breasts along the curve to the bottom. Really hurts when I move a certain way. Could this be nerve regeneration? The left one feels a bit "tighter" than the right one, which feels normal.
I'm wondering if this is part of the healing process of the ba, or something that needs my PS' attention.

I have no professional answer, but a "staggering pain" sounds...well, painful! And the fact that it really hurts when you move a certain way would cause me to question. I know all of us have had varying degrees of pain during recovery, but only YOU can determine it's actual severity. However, a question on "staggering pain" should be brought to the attention of your PS, so it can't hurt to just give them a call. Your mind will be at ease rather than wonder. Let us know what happens; take care.

I had the same pain you are referring to between the breasts (sometimes still do at 3 1/2 weeks PO) but it has never been a staggering pain as you mentioned although everyone has different tolerances of pain. Just call your PS as the other person suggested to make sure what they think or would have you do.

SOunds like you have a nerve that you irritate from time to time when you and your implant move a certain way. Most people who have this find that MASSAGING helps tremendously. I don't know WHY massaging helps but it certainly does
As time goes on these things will diminish. Just sounds like you have an ultra-sensitive nerve that is trying to heal.

Thanks guys. I went to my PS yesterday just to make sure it wasn't anything that needed attention. He thinks I pulled or stretched the pec muscle where it attaches to the sternum. I took my last pain pill and a muscle relaxer and that helped the tightness let go some. It still can hurt like an SOB but now I don't freak myself out over it. Can't imagine what I've done to injure it; seems like I haven't done squat compared to my usual life.

The muscle was probably vulnerable from the surgery. The implants may have caused it to get pulled on when the skin and everything stretched out.
