Default Fluid Build Up, Infection & Agony

Just wondering if anyone has gone through what I am going through. I am 11 days post of, cohesive gel, under muscle, crease incision.
I was starting to feel better, then 3 days started to get pain in one breast and it is really swollen and sore (the other breast is fine). Just went to hospital, they did blood test and gave me antibiotics for infection. They can't do anything else, I have to see my PS, during the week, today is Sunday.
Has anyone else had fluid build up after BA?

Yes, I had a hematoma the first time and then got an infection. It is SO VERY important to do nothing tomorrow but totally rest, be pampered and do this until you see the Dr.

I am 1 month op.I have not had fluid but,Did have eternal bleeding. In the middle of the night after surgery I woke up with breast swollen and in a lot of pain.I went to PS and had to go back in ASAP to surgery. Not to worry you.I just wanted to let you know if they did blood work and gave you meds you will just have to make sure you rest and call your PS Monday first thing. If this were me,I would want him to take a look and see what he thinks since he is your PS and he did do your BA.Good Luck and let us know how your doing.

thanx for your replies. I phoned my PS emergency after hours number and he thinks fluid build up is seratoma or heamatona - or something like that. Got to go see him 2morrow, nothing to eat after midnight tonight - said he's more than likely have to do a quick op to drain out the excess fluid.
I did have a drain on this right side because I was bleeding a lot there, and they took it out the morning after my BA - maybe it came out too quick. Anyway I'll know by 2 morrow mid morning.

You need to rest. Infections are common in swollen body parts, because the swelling makes them susceptible to infection. I hope you feel better.
