Default question actual cost of implant?

I have been doing some other research on another website forum. I have actually located someone in my area that went to the same PS I did for a consult. First words out of his mouth (no measurements-nothing)was high profile. No other options were mentioned and no explanations. I am petite but actually have a broad chest and shoulders. Anyway the person on the forum indicated he recommended only high profile for her and she said she is a "bigger girl" she also said her sister went for a consult and he recommended the same thing. The question is- can you think of any reason high profile seems to be an across the board recommendation from him, could it be the high profile actually costs him less to purchase? If anyone can answer this- I think it would be you. Thanks a bunch.

Interesting you should mention this today as Catzzy and I just went for her check-up with Dr Chang in Baltimore and he gave me ALL the specs fro Mentor, including the newest Memory Gels that can be cut in half...and it has all the pricing.
The HPs cost $50 more then the smooth round.
Now..you are wise and smart enough to know your own BWD and choose an implant that matches YOUR own.
Remind me of your ribcage measurement-measure right under the breast crease all the way around snugly...add no inches

I don't think it is cost. He probably thinks the HPs look better. Surgeons differ in their opinions as do patients. I am not a fan of HPs in general. I tend to like Moderate profile.

I don't think it is good that he didn't offer you different options and explain the pros and cons. He should help you make a decision, not just flat out tell you what to do. Maybe you want to go get a consult from a new PS?
