my cups are filled and my middle doesn't lie flat on my breast bone either. I am currently wearing Warner's 34C, non-underwire. I was fitted at Mervyn's and bought this bra there at 5 weeks post-op.
I am now at 7 weeks and 3 days post. I had my hubby measure my ribcage and it measures at 31 1/4". I went to Nordstrom and got fitted. I was told by the salesperson that I am a 32DD or 34D!!! How can that be? She suggested that I buy a 34D bra. I did buy a bra from Nordstroms, but bought a 34C. The 32 bra just seemed SUPER tight and I personally didn’t think I am a D cup. I know there's a huge difference in bra manufacturers, but how can I tell which size I truly am? |

Go with Nordstroms....try on many styles of their bra's. If the Warner 34C does not fit then a 34D or a 32 DD is the answer. For every cup size you go up there is an inch added to the bra cup. A good fit is when the middle lays flat..
or a 36 B |

If your rib cage is a 31 1/4 then how did the salesperson think you were a 32? I don't think you would even be a 34 at that size. I am wondering if your husband measured you incorrectly. My rib cage is a 28 and I fit into 32 or 34's. I would suggest to re-measure your rib cage.

Were you able to figure out your bra size, tina? Which measurement ended up being correct?
