Default Is this normal?

Since having cohesive gel implants 3 days ago, I have a tightness and shortness of breath. I don't know if this is normal and to be expected because the skin is stretching, or if it is something to follow up..?

I had the same feelings ... it also hurt to inhale. I learned that the shortness of breath is a side effect from the anesthesia and can last for a few weeks and the pain/heaviness is mostly from bruising.....though I had know external bruising. Still you should confirm this with your own PS just to be sure. Also, try to keep this in mind for the next time you go under, when asked if you had any side effects from the anesthesia.....yes you did, mild but still evident. Also, I am now 8 days PO and though I feel great most of the time, I'm still not a 100% in regards to my breathing. Best Wishes!!

It is normal after a breast augmentation surgery to feel that way. Nonetheless, you can always check with your doctor. He can look at you and make sure everything is fine.

Don't worry you'll be alright within couple of weeks. As you have been placed with implants, they will overfill the implant in order to reduce the breathing rate. you will get accustomed to this breathing style within few days to weeks...
