Post Breast Implants make it very difficult to detect breast cancer

That's not true, they just take more films and views at your mammogram check-ups. However, it is important to get a mammogram if you are over 35 or if you have a history of breast cancer before you have your breast augmentation surgery. Besides they are starting to use computer imagery and ultrasound to view breast tissue for mammograms. Also the under placements make it very easy for detection of benign and pre-cancerous lumps or irregularities. However, most breast anomalies are discovered by manual exam either by yourself or by your gynecologist during a routine exam.

Do gynecologists also do breasts? I thought they just did vaginas.
