Default When can you wear a regular bras?

I had my BR on 11/1. My PS wants me to stay in my surgical type bra until my next checkup in 5 weeks. I didn't ask her but have been wondering - when do you get to wear a normal bra?? I understand that underwires will be out of the picture for a while. but what have you all experienced?

thanks

I started wearing Sports Bras 1 day PO after I took my first shower. At about 4 weeks PO, I found some wireless bras I like. I've tried on bras with wires at VS but to tell you the truth, I don't like their stuff. The sizing is weird and the they are way overpriced. I don't even like the free underwear they give my DH gets from them. Long story. Just my opinion.

I am 6 weeks and wearing normal bras without the wire. PS said I can't wear a wire until at least 3 months. He said it could mees up the scar and nerves in that area.

He'll probably tell you at the next checkup if you can go to normal bras. If not, he'll at least be able to tell you when you will be able to.
