Solid, Cohesive, or Fat Grafting?

Hi, yall I am new to this forum thing, but I think it is great that there is so much information based on experiences.
I have a million questions.
Does anyone know the difference between solid implants, cohesive implants and fat grafting? Also what seems to work best? What's most expensive? Do implants come in different shapes? and finally I got the impression from other postings that cohesive implants are not used in the U.S. is that true?

solid gel is just that solid it can be felt. they are rigid and many people i have spoken with think that they feel them. cohesive is silcione based rarely used in the states(handful of doctors) are softer feels like a gummy bear. it comes in different sizes that you and your doctor can decide of the look you want. fat grafting is using your own good fat and you must have a nice amount so that it can be lipoed in a careful way from your abdomen, your inner thighs, your back, flanks, hips. sometimes they combine cohesive gel implants and fat grafting to achieve the look. you really need to do your homework i suggest going to the doctors office physically not just relying oninternet searches because i have noticed in several sites the same pictures of women but different doctors and locations. how could that be ithink they reuse the nice pictures to show their work but it really is not their work. i am going in soon to get my procedure done i promise that if it turns out great i will place it on this forum. i have to say that in the latino world the butt is very important. and for years many famous latinas have done their procedures in south america. and i have not heard of any diasters. as matter of fact a brasilian friend of mine told me how over 20 years ago they had butt aumentations in BRASIL. so it may sound new to you because honestly it was not being performed here. until recent years. american society has always depicted the small tight butt not big and tight. i guess things are changing. try looking at internationalsurgery.com and betterbuttocks.com you can get good info but again don't rely so much on pictures.

I'm having implants. I believe the doc uses Cohesive gel. I want to look at a site that produces them...to have an idea of sizes. Do you know of a link somewhere that I could do that?

Isn't the cohesive gel illegal in the United States?
