lasik surgery - hope i'm in the right area

hi, i'm new here. just trying to do some research for lasik eye surgery before i get it done. i'm a photographer by trade and just wanted to get some tips that i need to know before i go to my appointment with my specialist at my2020.com. i want to get the surgery done soon because my glasses can't cut it anymore. any help/feedback/insider info is highly appreciated.
