does anyone know if there is a minimum level of droop required before surgery will be considered? I ask because although my left eye really bothers me and impacts on my confidence a surgeon may not think it 'bad' enough to operate on. I have a consult booked with R Collin later this year which costs £150 and I'd rather not lose that if I know he'll refuse to operate. I would estimate that I have a 2mm difference, maybe 3mm..which doesn't sound much but it is very noticeable on such a small area as the eyelid...and it gets worse when I'm tired etc

The_hedonist can be very unpleasant (you ought to read what he said about me on YTF!). But in this instance he is right because you really need to ask an expert.
Do you know you actually have ptosis? Lots of people have unequal eyelids. http://www.eyelidsurgery.co.uk/condi...blb-ptosis.htm |

I would have thought the surgeon would be willing to operate on almost anything, considering he will make money from it. If even the surgeon says it is not bad enough, I think you can trust him.
