The manufacturer of Radiesse is reporting that the US FDA has approved the cosmetic dermal filler for the correction of moderate to severe facial wrinkles
and folds such as nasolabial folds. Radiesse also received a second FDA approval for the correction of facial fat loss (lipoatrophy) in people with human immunodeficiency virus (HIV). The company claims that Radiesse not only provides volume replacement to wrinkles, folds and sunken depressions but also stimulates the body to produce new collagen. The results last an average of one year or more. |

That's good. Is Radiesse the only FDA approved facial filler?

You know what they say about "if it sounds too good to be true"?...well, that's what I feel about the claims for this new procedure. I also wonder if there will be awful side effects down the road.
