How common is laser skin resurfacing? How many people get the procedure done per year?

I dont think it's as common as the other surgeries. I've hardly heard about it. How old is it?

I don't know but it sounds interesting. I wonder how far down in the skin it can resurface, such as dealing with moles, freckles, and spider veins?
