Have you ever gotten tattoos removed by laser?

In addition, what does the skin look like after the tattoo is removed? Is there are scarring or discoloration where the tattoo had been?

I only know of a guy that had a tattoo removed, and it looks weird, because you can tell there was something there... the skin never got back to the way it was, and looks just different, a little darker in some areas and lighter in others.

I never had any tattoo on my skin so I never got a chance to remove it. But does it pain badly, I am scared of pain while getting a tattoo done, so I never got one done. If it does pain and discolors or looks different then it is better to have tatto rather than a dark mark on skin.

I hope I never have to get this done. I have one tattoo and it's in memory of some friends. Granted, the only thing I'd feel guilty about is not knowing them as well as most of my friends did and they probably wonder why I would do such a thing, but I have my reasons. It's a daily reminder to enjoy life while I can! I plan to get more too. It's just a matter of people making wise decisions! I guess if they made the mistake, they ought to pay for it haha

I've never met anyone who had a removal, but I know alot of tatooed people who would like to get it done. I've gone back and forth over whether I'd like a tattoo, but the idea of wanting it removed, "buyer's remorse", has stopped me from doing it.
