Does removing moles leave big scars? Is there anyway to avoid scarring?

Removing moles might leave a scar only if there isn't any use of the creams or tablets prescribed by the doctor. I used the cream and tablets for just 2-3 days and there isn't any scar left back.

I have a really good scar cream that I actually use for clearing up acne but it's hard to find...I first saw it in a grocery store and then had to buy it online because they don't carry it anywhere. It's called Herbal Logix Spot, Scar, & Blemish Creme.

I have had several moles removed from my face and there are no scars. All the doctor does is inject a little Xylocaine, local pain killer like Novacaine, and cuts away the mole with a scalpel. There isn't any blood, so the cut isn't really deep enough to cause scarring. NO creams or pills are needed afterward, but you do need to be aware of sun exposure for about 48 hours as your skin might be more sensitive where the moles were removed.

I got mine removed from inside of my eyelid, I think may be its very delicate part that my doctor gave me pills and a cream.

I had a mole removed from right above my upper lip, on the left side. I didn't put any cream on it at all, I just kept it covered for a couple days, and there is only a very faint scar, not much though, not even noticable.

I am sure that aftercare is influenced by the location of the mole and its depth.

Havig a mole removed from INSIDE the eyelid sounds girzzly! You were extremely brave to have the proceidure!

I was pretty much scared to just go for it. I postponed it for almost 3 long years but finally decided to go for it. It just took few minutes but I am happy to have a normal sight, else I always had an obstruction.

I agree, it seems like it would take a lot of courage to actually have a mole removed from your eyelid, especially the inside. I cannot imagine how it would feel to have my vision obstructed in that way all the time.

I am better off now without any obstruction. During my childhood days it was very very small almost invisible but as I grew it grew along and finally after removing it I feel happy to have good vision.
