If you have very enlarged puffy nipples that stick way out and its hurting your self esteem and self image tremendously, then nipple reduction in male is recommended. If you're nipples are large ( that is they stick out farther than you want) or your areola ( the pigmente area around the nipple) is too big, you should immediately consult a reputed plastic surgery...

but what about for the females? what if they're breasts are big, too?
i mean, those whose nipples size is just proportional to their breasts',
but compared to other women's, they're a bit large?

It would be easier to simply wear slicone nipple shields in a brassier. Medical procedures place you at the mercy of a surgeons "interpretation" of your desires. The results could be very different from what you envision.

I guess it is only logical to get a nipple reduction if you are getting also a breast reduction. They can be (in general) more or less in proportion with the rest of the breast, but sometimes, mother nature plays with our bodies!

I agree. There are other ways to handle such a supposed "problem" than getting surgical correction. Such results from surgery can be problematic and hard to reverse.

Let's not forget how painful having surgery on the nipples might be. There's no guarantee that the pain of surgery will disappear after the healing process has ended!
