I'm not actually sure it is a good idea to post a link like this because it might freak the pre-op patient out and of course complications are rare. I wouldn't recommend it as light bedside reading on the night before your op.

It might freak pre-op patients out, but I think it is good for them to be aware of the risks involved. People should be able to make an informed decision.
