Default Breathing, sneezing, blowing...

I'm freaking out about the breathing/blowing/sneezing thing.
How long before I can breathe through my nose?
" " " " " BLOW my nose and sneeze normally?
(I can't get rid of a sneeze anyway, I've tried every day to do it).
What happens if you DO sneeze full force through your nose?
I sneeze and blow my nose about 5 times a day.
The obsessional part of my brain will *hate* not being able to do this.

I did the same, open your mouth and sneeze!
Because I had a septo/rhino, I could not breathe properly through my nose for quite a while (forget how long?) but it must have been 3 - 4 weeks. Rhino Smiley This was because my nose kept getting blocked up with dried blood, and in the end I rang the plastic surgery nurses who asked my surgeon. I was told that I should inhale from a bowl of hot water, and also to dip cotton buds in just boiled hot water from the kettle, let them cool a little and then gently place on the dried blood in the nose, so it melted a bit of the crusts. However it is important that you should not poke the nose with the cotton buds.
I think it is best to ask the surgeon. Also I know of some people who have had no problem breathing soon after their rhinoplasty - we all differ.
For me it was the most annoying part of having a rhino, in that I could not breathe properly. Poor hubby had to put up with me lying on my back in bed every night, and snoring most of the night. Laughing I really do not know why he did not tell me to go and sleep in one of the spare bedrooms *bless*. Just between me and you, maybe he had a guilty conscience, as he has a degree in snoring :viking:

I sneeze 5 times a day and I haven't even had nose surgery yet. If you are worried about not being able to breathe, then call your surgeon. Otherwise, just wait it out and try not to think about it.
