Mmm strange q but when did u stop eating mushy foods after the operation? I CAN chew some things (no big burgers or whatever lol) but I don't know whether its a good thing. I feel like it puts too much pressure on the nose. Also how many times a day did u clean the nose with sterilising solution? I keep forgetting to take arnica damn it grrr. Rhino Smiley

I found where there was a will there was a way. I just ate normally. I was told to clean round the stitches twice a day with diluted hydrogen peroxide (use cooled boiled water). But I had an open surgery. You should do what your surgeon said. Didn't he give you any aftercare instructions? You certainly don't have to go to great lengths to get everything clean inside. But I did find saline on a cotton bud helped the dryness a bit. Naughty but nice.
But no cotton buds up the nose. One surgeon said to leave the surgery to him. |

It's hard to chew because it is hard to breathe out of the nose. It's like being sick with the flu and a cold.
