Is the belly button surgery designed to turn it from an ini to an outie, and to reshape them.

I assume most people prefer to have an innie, so the procedure probably turns an outie into an innie.

I just don't see why it's that big of a deal to get your belly button changed. It just doesn't seem worth it to me.

A hernia of the umbilicus, or "belly button" can lead to huge protrusions so this surgery also has some health benefits for people suffering from the condition.
