I'm having this surgery!

I am getting ready to have this surgery on the 27th of Feb.(2009). I have had 5 kids and am a bodybuilder. I also work in a factory on cement 9 hours a day. All of these factors play a roll in the issues I am having. If you go to your search bar and type in, (LVR surgery) and other related topics like the vaginoplasty they are very self explanitory. Because of the nature of this topic you can only be candor in its discussion. So here goes...! I am 49 yrs old and in very good shape. I am to young to be wetting my pants. Because of the stretching and tearing of having kids the walls surrounding the vagina are stretched out and do not support the bladder or rectum (which lie posterior and anterior to the inside of your vagina. When having babies you get what they call an apeziotomy to make room for the baby coming out. This is done in your perineum area (between the anus and vagina). Because this area is also a support structure for a bowl movement they will reconstruct it as well. In all of these areas they will be using a mesh material for reinforcement, to help keep it from stretching out again. I am having a ureathra sling put in as well to help keep me from wetting my pants when I caugh, laugh, jump, sneeze, make love.... you get the picute, right. Though it is not a pretty picture, there are valid reasons to having this surgery for alot of woman. We just want to be whole once again. There are woman out there much younger than me having these problems, so it doesn't just come with age and menopause. I will gladdly post back when this surgery is through and let you know the results and any details you would be curious about. I will answer any questions about my situation in more detail if u wish. I have not covered everything here. This surgery makes the vagina tighter as well which will be an unexpected benefit.
